Reader comments
This book is very interesting. It explains Western philosophy in the form of a story, which makes me feel that philosophy is so close to our lives! I especially like the part about Nietzsche in the book. His thoughts are really unique. However, I don't like Rousseau very much. I feel that he is sometimes too idealistic. This book gave me a deeper understanding of Western civilization and made me think about my own lifestyle and values. Recommended to friends who like philosophy and thinking!
When viewed as a biography, it appears small; when viewed as a philosophy, it appears frivolous.
An easy-to-understand history of philosophy!
The logic is clear, easy to understand, and the thoughts are profound. Good philosophical thought enlightenment cognition
