The Fox Spirit Begins with a War Fan

This book is all about changing fate, so switch off your brain and enjoy it (listening to the audiobook is recommended; it’s better than reading). Both protagonists are women. It’s a story about a magical treasure that becomes a demon and falls in love with its original wielder. Human: Fang Yu. Demon: Tushan Yu, who pursues her after the fact. “Actually, you could also sign a labor contract to repay your debt. Four hundred taels a month, and you’ll be done in exactly a hundred years. Room and board included!” “Maybe I should just make a run for it?” “The Claws of Absolute Immunity are impervious to magical treasures and spells. With Tushan Honghong possessed by the Black Fox’s true form and empowered by demonic energy, she’s already faintly surpassed the Great Demon Emperor. What a pity about this clone. Once this trouble is taken care of, it’ll probably run out of energy.” Yu stared blankly at the three sisters before her, her feelings tangled. The odds were two in four, and she’d really drawn them. That was bad enough, but why did it have to happen on Tushan’s turf… “A mere Dao Alliance thinks it can oppose our Tushan?” “Lay a hand on my little sister, and I’ll destroy a city. Hurt her, and I’ll wipe out your entire alliance! Dao Alliance, know your place.” “It’s simple. Just fall in love with me, Miss Yu.” Yu stopped walking, a trace of helplessness in her eyes. “Even though you’re a demon now, falling in love with your own magical treasure…” She couldn’t get past that hurdle… “Miss Yu, will my luck help me find you?” she asked, puzzled, then slowly stepped inside. “The Void Tear can travel through time and space…” “I’m sorry. I’ve waited hundreds of years for this day, Sister Yaya, Sister Rongrong.” “I won’t let go. It took me so much to finally marry you. How could I let you go so easily?” Tushan Yu whispered.
