The Secret of My Sister Never Bathing

My older sister has never touched water. She says water is the dirtiest thing in the world, and she’s too precious to touch it. She’s never washed her hair. The lice on her head are huge and plump, and she says they improve circulation and remove blood clots, making her smarter. She’s never washed her feet, either. A stray dog once bit her foot, but she was fine. The dog died. In my previous life, I urged her to pay attention to her hygiene and drink more hot water, or she might get diabetes. But she thought I was cursing her. She pinned me down in the bathtub and gritted her teeth as she said, “Didn’t you say water was good? Who knew it could drown you to death!” When I opened my eyes again, I was back on the day she was bitten by the stray dog.
