This Assassin Is a Little Broke

Before my mother died, all she left me was the assassin organization she had founded: the Firmament. She said her old injuries were beyond treatment and that she should have died long ago. She said she had no enemies, so I didn’t need to avenge her. She told me to take good care of the children she had brought into the organization. Then she breathed her last. But she never mentioned that the realm was at peace now, and assassins couldn’t get any work. Nor did she say the organization didn’t have a single coin to its name. How am I supposed to feed all these people?
