At the Police Station: My Beautiful Boss Falls for Me

Japan, 1996. The economy is in a severe downturn, and public safety is beginning to deteriorate. Han Ming's soul transmigrates into a detective named Nagasawa Mitsuhide. After a push-and-pull relationship with his beautiful superior, he continues to grow and rise. In just ten short years, he makes all of Japan remember the name Nagasawa Mitsuhide. He switches effortlessly between angel and devil. Some authoritative magazines even run headlines like, “We'd rather lose another decade than have this devil.” The protagonist is a rogue. His defining traits are his cunning, decisiveness, and lack of saintly compassion. This is pure wish fulfillment. Male lead: Nagasawa Mitsuhide, a typically calculating man and a swaggering police officer who graduated from a prestigious university. After being targeted by his superior, he's demoted twice and transferred to Shinagawa Police Station, going from a promising patrol division recruit to a hard-pressed chief inspector. Female lead: Yamaguchi Misa, born into a prominent family and the only daughter of Yamaguchi Daiyu, chief of Shinagawa Police Station. With a voluptuous figure, she's a typical sheltered flower, yet unwilling to live in the shade of her father's achievements. She always longs for other people's approval, and her brains are somewhat lacking compared to her bust. Male supporting character: Fukuyama Junji, 31, a typical self-serving pragmatist. Born into humble circumstances, he's worked hard for ten years and earned plenty of merit, but in Japan, where lineage matters greatly, his path upward is all but blocked. Female supporting character 1: Sakai Natsu, the woman of a crime syndicate boss. She seems fragile, but is deeply calculating. Female supporting character 2: Koda Saori, 34, a beautiful lawmaker who greatly helps the male lead's rise. The two share many connections. Main antagonist: Eguchi Shingo, head of the First Investigative Division of the Metropolitan Police Department and the mastermind behind the male lead's transfer.
