Synopsis

The famous Tang Dynasty poet Du Fu, moved by Zhuge Liang’s six campaigns against Mount Qi, all of which ended without success, and his eventual death from illness at Wuzhang Plains, wrote the beloved poem: “Before his mission was complete, he died; ever since, heroes have wept, their robes soaked through.” This has remained a regret in the hearts of countless heroes and ordinary people for two thousand years. In truth, Zhuge Liang worked himself to death. Sima Yi once remarked of him, “He eats little but has endless affairs to attend to. How can he last?” But neither Sima Yi nor Zhuge Liang knew that his illness could have been cured. The only pity was that Zhuge Liang had no renowned physician by his side at the time. Tian Ying, a physician at a top-tier hospital, transmigrates into the body of Zhang Zhongjing’s last disciple, one of the Three Great Physicians of Jian’an during the Three Kingdoms period.
