Wudang Taiyi Quan (Song Family), which has been passed down among the people in Changshan County, Zhejiang Province for hundreds of years, has been little known before and was not understood by outsiders. Only after the intangible cultural heritage survey was carried out in 2006, the local cultural department discovered this valuable cultural heritage. Through various efforts, this ancient folk tradition of internal martial arts was brought to light again, became familiar and understood by local people, and was recognized by the government. In June 2012, Wudang Taiyi Quan (Song Family) was included in the fourth batch of intangible cultural heritage list by the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government.
