Reckless Nights

[Long-Planned Scheme + Marriage First, Love Later + A Deceptive, Disguised Older Man]

Jiang Ziyi was a notorious playboy, and Wen Nian had been dating him for years.

The night before their engagement, Wen Nian received photos of him tangled up with someone else. He’d cheated, and on the day of their engagement party he didn’t show up at all, leaving Wen Nian to face the countless strange looks from the guests by herself. Her disappointment finally reached its limit, and she seized the chance to end their relationship.

Not long after the scandal died down, Wen Nian’s adoptive parents pressured her into attending a banquet. She wanted no part of the gossip, but someone schemed to drug her. A man rescued her, and when she woke, she recognized him. Facing him, she had no say in the matter and was taken off to register their marriage.

After they married, Shang Yu’s every move gradually became different from the man she remembered, leaving her baffled and always on the back foot. He often made her blush, and she gave in because of his line, “It’s a husband’s right.” She was even afraid to mention her ex in front of him.

Some time after they married, Wen Nian’s ex started pestering her, and Shang Yu found out. To placate him, she had no choice but to agree to his demands. If she got involved with another man or did anything even slightly inappropriate, she would have to accept his punishment. She was still hesitating when he said, “This is something we have to observe to strengthen the loyalty between husband and wife,” leaving her speechless.

The first time Wen Nian got caught, she wanted to run when she heard Shang Yu’s punishment, but there was nowhere to escape.

“I originally planned to set it at one hour. But he touched your wrist, so I’m adding another two.”

With nowhere to run, she couldn’t help calling him a “jerk.”

“Hmm?”
