Li Kai isn't much of a gamer, but one day his sister forces him to enter the virtual game Boundless to keep tabs on his brother-in-law. Through a series of coincidences, he takes up the knight class and accidentally becomes chairman of the Realm Council, an alliance formed by multiple civilizations. At first, he's little more than a puppet, forced to bow and scrape before the veteran member civilizations. They say strength is the guarantee of status.
