After I Heard My Vicious Grandmother's Inner Thoughts

My grandmother is a vicious woman. If the food Mom makes doesn't suit her taste, she flips the table. I gave her a scarf I had knitted by hand, and she called it ugly and threw it in the trash. Furious, I was about to lash out and curse the old hag. But Mom grabbed me and shook her head. I angrily asked her why. She stroked my head and whispered to the empty air, “Can you bind my daughter to it too?” An hour later, Grandma flipped over the new dishes Mom had made again. Just as I couldn't take it anymore, I heard her thoughts. “Everything on this table is my favorite! Sob, sob. You really are inhuman, you rotten System!”
