Siheyuan: From the Start, I'm Schemed Out of a House

Wang Hongjun transmigrates into the body of an insignificant nobody in a Beijing courtyard compound. Within days, Yi Zhonghai and the Jia family start scheming to take Wang Hongjun's only room and make him move out so Banggeng can live there. Wang Hongjun: “What about my younger sister?” Jia Zhangshi: “She's just a girl. We're not going to turn her away, so we'll let our Banggeng put up with her for a few years and have her share a room with him!” Wang Hongjun refuses, and Silly Zhu, the courtyard's resident muscle, uses force to put him in his place. Unable to fight back, Wang Hongjun can only take the beating until, in desperation, he uses the Monkey Plucks the Peach move. By chance, he activates the Human Negative Value Collection System. With its help, Wang Hongjun starts down the road of fleecing the courtyard's retirement clique, never to turn back. Jia Zhangshi: “I'm so hungry.” Banggeng: “Grandma, I'm hungry too!” Wang Hongjun: “First Master, I can tell you're sick just by reading your fortune!” Third Aunt: “Old Yan, please stop eating! Keep this up and you'll finish all our food rations for the month!” Liu Haizhong: “Dear, maybe we should stop eating eggs. The money we save could buy us a couple more steamed corn buns.”
