Life Is Worth Living

On my twenty-eighth birthday, I was diagnosed with a terminal illness. As I clutched the diagnosis report, my mind in turmoil and with no idea what to do, my fiancé of eight years, Mu Yunzhou, gave me a devastating blow. Mu Yunzhou rekindled his old flame with Gu Wan, his long-lost first love, who had returned after eight years away. While I fought cancer in the hospital, Mu Yunzhou ignored me and spent every day being affectionate with Gu Wan. Even worse, he brought Gu Wan back to the home we shared. Despair at being abandoned sent me down a path of no return. I leaped from the eightieth floor. When I opened my eyes again, I was waking from a nightmare. Without the slightest hesitation, I let Mu Yunzhou go so he could pursue his true love. But he refused to let me go. So what if he refused? A man with a tainted heart wasn't worth holding on to.
