Three Kingdoms: Cao Cao, the Literary Genius

Liu Bei: Mengde, have you written anything new lately? Recite it for us! Guan Yu: Chancellor, if you wanted to use my long beard as a giant brush, you should have just said so! Yuan Shao: How dare you, Cao Mengde! You brought your literacy campaign all the way to Hebei! Tao Qian: A misspelled character is still a mistake. Wiping out my entire clan ten times over is still a mistake! Cao Pi: Of all the literary talent under heaven, Cao Zhi has eight tenths. Where does that leave my father? This is tantamount to treason! Yang Xiu: Chancellor, I was wrong. But it really was one crisp for each person! Cao Cao: Chen Lin, when it comes to literary talent, I'm no match for you, so I won't kill you! Sun Quan: I hear Cao Cao is planning to head south and teach everyone to read. You'd all better hit the books. I recommend this copy of The New Book of Mengde! Cao Cao: After I die, you may write on my tomb, “The Tomb of Cao Mengde, Great Man of Letters.” Cao Pi: Forgive me, Father. I have to let you down! Cao Cao was posthumously given the title Emperor Wu, and Cao Pi the title Emperor Wen. New novel: Romance of the Three Kingdoms IX: Dragon Soars Over Xinye
