The On-Screen Comments Say I'm the Vicious White Moonlight of the Aristocratic Academy

An Li is the only student admitted to an elite academy through a special program. She just wants to keep her head down and live quietly, but for some inexplicable reason, people treat her like a thorn in their side. An Bai sneers. “You clawed your way into an elite academy, thinking you could latch onto some powerful family and transform from a sparrow into a phoenix?” An Li is baffled. Who are you? Comments: [Bai Bai really is the heroine of the new era. She's such an obvious black lotus! Go on, slap that white lotus in the face!] An Li's eyes widen in shock. And who are you people??? Under the comments' incessant chatter, An Li learns that this world is an anime adapted from a game. It turns out she's the vicious white moonlight who stands in the heroine's way. As the heroine's foil, she's fated to die miserably. An Li: ... Wait, she's not ready to die miserably! Whoever wants to be this vicious white moonlight can have the job, but you male leads, stay away from me! Male leads: That won't do. You're our white moonlight. An Li: ?? Only at the end does An Li learn that she's actually the original heroine of the same-IP game, from its earliest generation. The academy's four heartthrobs were always her four romance routes. And An Bai is just a much later-generation heroine who jumped on the nostalgia bandwagon.
