Harry Potter: The Faded Soul

Many people say that this book is a bit like an ancient sadistic novel, but I don't think so. The heroine's "atonement" is not "atonement" in the traditional sense. Everyone thinks that she misses Merlin and doesn't want to leave Merlin. But in fact, she feels that even having a little love for Merlin is wrong, and they should not have met in the first place. Or it could be a simple friendship, as the Boggart episode shows. She is very afraid of Merlin expressing his love for her, and she is trying to correct her previous mistakes. This book is really beautiful 😢😢😢!! The setting is very novel. It is not "I want to redeem you" in the traditional sense, but "We are the same kind of people" - it is precisely because we have similar but not identical experiences that I can understand you; but it is also precisely because of this profound understanding that I know that we all have missions that we have to face. The author's writing style is very contagious. Whether it is depicting the heroine's self-judgment or describing the inner thoughts of different characters, the writing is full of emotion, delicate and immersive. In particular, the description of scenes and memories is particularly beautiful, and the overall writing style is elegant!! The characters in the book have different emotions: the professor is the same kind as the heroine, her love is twisted, his love is full of brokenness, and both of them have unspeakable sad pasts hidden behind them; and another character in the book who is not the hero or heroine has accompanied her for thousands of years, hiding a secret love for thousands of years... (Guess who it is 🍉) Maybe this article might be a bit off-putting? Also say: 1. The male and female protagonists are each burdened with redemption that needs to be completed, and it is not entirely about the love between them. 2. Don't watch if you have severe emotional mysophobia (referring to the fact that the male and female protagonists are not allowed to have sex before meeting each other) 3. In the middle part of the plot related to recall, it is recommended to read line by line without skipping. The speaker is not marked when the character dialogue switches, so sometimes you need to read the sentence repeatedly to guess the identity of the speaker (?) But once you guess it correctly, you will feel that this design is very exquisite!! If you don't understand it at first glance, you need to compare it with the previous and later paragraphs to understand~ 4. Although the plot is well laid out, I personally think that the identity setting of the heroine is too "powerful" and even a little OOC, like the "open eye" from God's perspective, which leads to sometimes! I really feel sorry for the heroine, although she may think that human beings' so-called distress is self-centered. Although it seems cold-blooded and stubborn, it is more like demonstrating the pain in the heart. It seems cynical, but in fact, it is not wanting to involve too many causes and consequences and not wanting to be hurt more.
