#Parallel World#Infinite Death Rewinds#Decisive, Not a Do-Gooder#Bizarre Phenomena#
After a car accident happens nearby, Jiang Li is killed by a mirror that falls on him. He unexpectedly transmigrates to a parallel world and happens to obtain the Mirror of Life and Death, which lets him rewind time infinitely after dying.
In this parallel world, you never know whether what you see is a person or something uncanny.
The uncanny world is strange and bizarre at every turn, and should be full of danger. But Jiang Li, with the Mirror of Life and Death, isn’t worried at all. Every time he dies, time rewinds to before his death. There’s nothing to fear. Just get on with it. At worst, he gets to experience the thrill of dying.
The knocking that always comes at two in the morning? Don’t worry. At worst, I’ll rewind after I die.
The strange girl with her head broken off? If she laughs, I’ll laugh too. Let’s see who’s less afraid of dying.
A formation of human-skin lanterns? Just go through it a few more times and die a few more times. What’s so hard about figuring it out?
A strange white glove grabbing my neck? Go ahead. After I die a few times, I’ll turn you to ash!
A black cat that erases shadows? Just see if I don’t pet you.
A headless male corpse in pajamas? You don’t mind if I destroy the evidence, do you?
Rebirth through reincarnation, the Great Dao turns in cycles!
I’m not good at writing introductions, so please go straight to the story. This is the tale of a transmigrator in a world invaded by the uncanny, and how he dies again and again while carefully fighting back against the uncanny at every turn.
It's quite innovative. It doesn't have those cookie-cutter plots. In terms of pace, if you say it's slow, it's actually quite fast. Let's just say it's fast-paced, but the protagonist's strength grows a bit slowly. But overall it's okay. As long as there's something that impresses me, I'll give it five stars.
