"The Mysteries of Hermes" (composed of 39 texts) mainly consists of three parts: 1. The dialogue between Hermes and his son Tat about the creation of the world and the origin of the soul; 2. "Asclepius" , also known as "The Supreme Good Instructions") dialogue, describing Egyptian religion and the witchcraft rituals practiced in it to gather the power of the universe and breathe life into the gods; 3. The lost fragments compiled by the Macedonian Stobaeus (about 5th century).

Although it is an ancient Greek work, it is not obscure to read. The author's imagination is very rich, which gave me a better understanding of the culture of that era. However, some contents in the book may require us to think deeply to understand. Overall, this is a book worth reading.
