The Repetition Game

One “Shengsheng” after another, Xie Sheng lived again and again. This is our game of reduplicated names. Characters: Main couple: gentle, steadfast sunshine goddess × gloomy, dejected, delicate little sweetheart Side couple: pretty, adorable, down-on-his-luck young master × steady, scheming prince of Beicheng Side couple: chatty, gossipy, lively actress × sunny, athletic, outgoing rich second-generation heir Synopsis: I wasn’t surprised to see Xie Sheng again, because we had been waiting seven years for this reunion. At fifteen, Feng Yuchu still stubbornly wanted to be friends with Xie Sheng. At twenty-four, the fourth thing she said when they met was, “Let’s get married.” How could they talk about marriage after seven years apart? Because their bond had taken root and grown strong long before that summer. Xie Sheng had been gone for seven years, all because he wanted to come back and love her in good health. My more than 1,000 days of liking him had been sealed away when I was eighteen. When we reunited, those feelings had settled into love. Lu Yuchuan liked Xie Yuan, from being dazzled by her at seven to being determined to win her over at seventeen. Wan Ming liked Lü Duoduo. Even after being rejected eleven times when he confessed, he remained her most devoted fan. The love destined to begin when they were sixteen or seventeen finally burst into bloom when they met again. And they were lucky enough to stay true to each other forever. School Days Arc
