When One Madman Meets Another

Two male leads, both completely unhinged, the kind of crazy that's off the charts. Ruthless Yang Cheng'an vs. Ji Yunzheng, who plots to seize the throne. At first, they both put on an act: one pretends to be full of compassion, the other to be pure and harmless. In the middle, they begin to clash head-on, neither willing to give an inch. By the end, they depend on each other through life and death, never leaving one another. Yang Cheng'an glared furiously at Ji Yunzheng, his back ramrod straight and his eyes cold with murderous intent. “I call you Your Highness, and you actually think that makes you somebody? How dare you act so brazenly in my presence.” Looking at Yang Cheng'an, Ji Yunzheng felt an inexplicable pang in his heart. Yet the pain was like tearing open a scab that had been there for ages, bringing with it an itch and a strange satisfaction. His Yang Cheng'an was meant to be just like this: sharp-edged and imperious. With a bloodthirsty smile, Ji Yunzheng said, “Eunuch, I do love you like this. You kept up your act for years, and I almost thought you'd really turned into a docile, harmless little lamb.” The two stood atop the city tower, seeming to hear the sounds of battle outside the city. “If you want the realm, I'll seize it for you, Eunuch.” “I'm just a eunuch. What would I want the realm for? If you're plotting to usurp the throne, don't say it's for me.” Ji Yunzheng laughed heartily. “Then what if I lose today?” Yang Cheng'an looked at Ji Yunzheng and smiled too. “Then I'll follow Your Highness to the underworld.”
