A Noble Husband at Home

[Adapted from The Republic of China Detective, with an original female lead who ships couples. The female lead's pairing is undecided, and may or may not happen, with a man or a woman.] A pairing is guaranteed: Lu Yichu (Qiao Chusheng & Lu Yao) Author's note: 1. I can't write detective stories. The plot is mostly the same as the original drama, but more condensed and with some changes. The story will focus on romance later on, with the investigation parts omitted. Please read with caution if this bothers you. 2. The story can be rather drawn-out, with too much of the female lead agonizing and analyzing. Most of her agonizing and analysis is about how to develop Lu Yichu's romantic relationship. The female lead is an obsessive shipper, completely unhinged. Please read with caution if this bothers you. 3. The female lead really dislikes Bai Youning at first, and says some very nasty things about her, but they get along well later. Please read with caution if this bothers you. 4. Lu Yichu's romantic storyline differs somewhat from the original drama, but the timeline and reasons behind how their connection begins and deepens are explained in the story. 5. The first 100,000 words are all about the development of Lu Yichu's relationship, with lots of trivial details and back-and-forth. Please read with caution if this bothers you.
