It avoids dragging things out or padding the story, and strives to make every character distinct, memorable, and worth caring about. The plot moves at a brisk pace, with the beginning and ending tied together. Every chapter has been carefully crafted to create scenes that are sincere rather than contrived, and concise rather than tedious. The protagonist is written as a human being, not an all-knowing, all-capable god. He works for what he earns. The major supporting characters are sure to keep readers talking. Each has their own distinct traits: unusual, yet still recognizably human, adding color to the story.
