I’m So Upset. I Dreamed About an Amazing Novel, Then Woke Up

This is so frustrating. In a dream, I found a great novel, but after I finished it, I was told it was a side story to another novel. Then I was shown a gorgeous fan edit of that novel. It looked amazing, but apparently the little world had a tragic ending and the story was a real tearjerker. I wanted to read it so badly, but I woke up before I could finish typing the search terms.
