People are enclosed in the tower to survive. There is no need to work hard for food, and there is no struggle due to greed. There is only darkness and change in the firelight at the top of the tower.
Some of the residents in the tower have superpowers called "blessings". Some can control fire, and others can control the wind. The protagonist Alexander has the ability to maintain vision (night vision) in this dark world. In this apparent utopia, he gradually discovers the horrifying truth.
One day, Alexander had the idea of leaving the tower. What was outside the tower? Is the world outside the tower full of wild animals? Is there a light outside the tower?
Alexander wants to see the world outside the tower, and the story of the Dark Spiral begins.
