A Qing Dynasty Transmigration into Dream of the Red Chamber: Lin Hongyu

As a maid, Lin Hongyu used to think only about how to climb the social ladder.

Then, after a strange dream, she realized that the Rongguo Mansion, the great tree everyone relied on, had shaky foundations and could collapse at any moment. That changed her mind, and all she wanted was to get out.

She never expected that when she stopped trying to climb the social ladder, the highest branch would come looking for her instead.

So the Fourth Prince, Hongli, is actually her cousin? With that connection, she sails through the Qianlong Emperor's harem and rises straight to the top.

Content warnings: First, the heroine is a local woman who learns of the future. As a maid born and raised in this world, the original owner would have no desire to save the Jia family, Lin Daiyu, the Three Springs, and the others. The story focuses more on the struggles among the servants of the Jia household.

Second, this story combines Dream of the Red Chamber with a Qing dynasty transmigration setting. The plot and timeline won't be exactly the same as in the original, and some details are invented. The first half focuses mainly on Dream of the Red Chamber, while the second half centers on palace intrigue in the Qianlong Emperor's harem.
