This book was published by Hebei People's Publishing House in May 1976. The first edition issued 90,000 copies. In 1979, it was reprinted and issued 120,000 copies. It was very popular among readers and became the most widely circulated monograph on TCM ophthalmology. This book is a systematic summary of chief TCM physician Pang Zanxiang's unique academic thoughts, rich theoretical knowledge and practical experience on ophthalmic diseases. It is a unique and creative monograph on TCM ophthalmology written in combination with clinical work. The book is divided into three parts. The first part introduces the basic knowledge of the eyes, focuses on the theory of the five rounds, and systematically organizes and explains the relationship between the eyes and the internal organs and meridians.
