The Luchuan Society

Two food delivery riders, brothers Lu Chuan and Li Long, get incredibly lucky and find their souls transported into the bodies of two local gangsters in Guanshanqiao Town, eastern Zhejiang, in 1936. Both dream of finding a better path for themselves. One is always thinking about joining the guerrillas and securing a bright future, while the other hopes to maneuver between the various factions and curry favor with them all. During the civil war, Lu Chuan eventually refuses to endure decades of hardship. He leads his men to Japan and establishes the Lu Chuan Society, becoming the underground emperor of the criminal underworld.
