[Zhou-era feudal system + Eastern lords + Barbarian era + Dragonfolk]
(Tired of Western-style lords? Why not try an Eastern one?)
A car accident sends Wu Fa transmigrating to the Nine Provinces, a land much like the Zhou dynasty, teeming with ferocious beasts.
His predecessor was a royal concubine’s son. Caught up in the struggle over which legitimate son would become crown prince, he was enfeoffed ahead of schedule as a frontier lord.
The news scared his predecessor to death on the spot, allowing Wu Fa to take over his body and return to life.
In this world, most nobles gain access to shapeshifting arts when they come of age at sixteen. They can transform into dragons, bears, and other creatures, then use special tools to defend against mysterious beasts and protect their subjects.
But his predecessor isn’t old enough to shapeshift yet. He can barely protect himself, let alone his subjects.
There’s a good chance some beast will eat him on the way to his fief.
Just as he’s wondering whether to cook himself a little first, to give the beast a better meal, the System arrives atop a cloud of seven colors...
Let me be the first one. As an old bookworm, the storyline is average, but using the seal to cultivate your power is more interesting. The power of the seal comes from the recognition of heaven, which is comparable to cultivating immortals. But the world section hopes it will be clearer later.
The writing is okay, but the protagonist has been in a lucid dream perspective for the first twenty chapters.
