Half a Life, Half a Life

We are all so ordinary. We don't come from good families, have impressive degrees, or have great jobs, so it's only natural that we endure hardship and unfair treatment.

We came into this world as ordinary little people. We work hard, raise our children, and care for our elderly. That's our greatest contribution to the world.

In summer, we long for autumn's coolness; in winter, we hope for spring's warmth. Time is always like this: it gives us a little hardship, a little sweetness, and then a little hope, until hope itself has made us old. The calendar grows thinner, the years grow heavier. For the rest of your life, be kinder to yourself and less troubled by the ways of the world. The road ahead is long, but all roads eventually end. Both happiness and sorrow will pass.
