Synopsis
Wangshu, a descendant of the high-ranking Immortal Clan, was mistaken for a water stone by a mid-ranking immortal deity and kept in a fishpond. Whenever Wangshu thought about it, she felt a pang of sorrow...
Xuanwei, meanwhile, insisted that raising her from infancy had been no easy feat!
In ancient times, the celestial gods divided the Immortal Clan into six ranks. Wangshu was descended from Liujin of the high-ranking clan and Bishui of the low-ranking clan. Intermarriage between ranks was forbidden in the Celestial Realm, to preserve the hierarchy and strengthen spiritual power. With blood from two ranks, Wangshu struggled to take human form, so her mother turned her into a water stone and kept her in the Celestial Lake. Xuanwei, a fish enthusiast, or rather, a great immortal of the Xuanbing Clan, happened to visit the lake one day to catch fish. Seeing the oddly shaped water stone, he decided it must be no ordinary object, so he took it home and kept it in his own immortal pond. That was how the two met and came to know each other.
Tell me, sir, how did you manage to raise a female emperor with max combat power while raising fish? Could you share your fish-raising secrets?
