The Traces Love Left Behind

I'm starting a new novel, expected to be 130,000 to 150,000 words. It's a story about loving and being loved.

The male lead is focused on his career at first, then later pursues his wife relentlessly.

The female lead is love-struck at first, then later devotes herself to her career.

As usual, my stories unfold at a slower pace, but the plot is tight and never drags. If you like every chapter to deliver an immediate, exciting payoff, this story may not be for you.

After facing setbacks in both her love life and career, bank clerk Yu Shasha decides to go abroad to clear her head. While traveling, she unexpectedly meets Tao Yuan, a handsome, young, wealthy inheritor of an intangible cultural heritage.

Though Tao Yuan can be a little sharp-tongued, he is considerate and protective of her in every way.

Yu Shasha thinks it's finally her turn to find a beautiful love and looks forward to a happy new life. But everything turns out to be a carefully plotted scheme.

Heartbroken, Yu Shasha returns home to focus on her career, only for Tao Yuan to follow her. The two stumble through a tangled, turbulent relationship.

So, is this unexpected romance true love or poison? How can a love built on deception go on, let alone find a happy ending?
