Love After the Lowest Point

After Nan Ya's mother dies, her father and stepmother move into the Nan family villa with their illegitimate daughter, Nan Li. From then on, Nan Ya is like a weed without a mother. Her father favors the others, while her stepmother and half-sister Nan Li see her as a thorn in their side. Nan Li tries to snatch away everything that belongs to Nan Ya, even her fiance, Tang Hui! Nan Ya returns early from a business trip and catches her sister and fiance entwined in her own bed. Heartbroken, she heads to a hotel to drink herself into oblivion, where she meets Lu Kai, the second young master of the Lu family, who has just been summoned back from abroad by his family. Both drunk, Nan Ya wanders into Lu Kai's room, and the two sleep together. At dawn, Nan Ya leaves five hundred yuan on the bedside table and slips away quietly. She never expects that Lu Kai, who has searched the whole city for her in vain, will rescue her at a banquet hosted by his childhood friend. From then on, he pursues Nan Ya openly and relentlessly. Despite a few setbacks, Lu Kai's persistence eventually wins her over, and the two lovers end up together!
