The Sweet, Sour, Bitter, and Spicy Love Life of Young Master Lin

Shen Xue’s mother, Shen Die, became Lin Wei’s stepmother. Lin Wei’s father was a real estate tycoon whose business empire spanned all of Huaguo! Lin Wei’s parents had married for the sake of their families, but their personalities clashed, and they argued constantly. Lin Wei often saw his mother hiding in her room, crying alone. He hated his father. When Lin Wei was ten, his parents divorced. Six months later, his father, Lin Bainian, brought Shen Die and Shen Xue to live at the Lin family home and told Lin Wei to call Shen Die Mom. Lin Wei argued with his father, but in the end, Shen Die said, “Bainian, don’t force him. Auntie is fine!” At the end of that same year, Lin Bainian gave Shen Die a lavish wedding. Lin Wei was two years older than Shen Xue, and from then on, he held a grudge against the mother and daughter. After Shen Xue came to live with the Lin family, Lin Wei went out of his way to bully the girl his stepmother had brought into the family. Unbeknownst to him, even as he hurt Shen Xue, he had already fallen in love with her! Shen Xue fell for him, too, but when she learned Lin Wei was going to get engaged to a wealthy young woman, she left for another country heartbroken. There, she met Jin Can, her childhood neighbor and big brother figure. Jin Can had founded a famous internet company overseas, and his success rivaled Lin Wei’s! Three years later, Jin Can brought Shen Xue to the Lin family to ask for her hand, only for Lin Wei to barge in and interfere. In the end, after Lin Wei stubbornly refused to give up, he won Shen Xue back, while Jin Can found his other half in Xia Yao!
