Memoirs of a life: my first flutter of the heart, my first confession, my first heartbreak, my first helplessness, my first time being reborn, my first glimmer of hope rekindled, and my first plunge into the whirlpool of a time loop. Stephen Chow's A Chinese Odyssey once said: “There was a sincere love right in front of me, but I didn't cherish it. By the time I lost it, I regretted it deeply. Nothing in this world is more painful than that.
“If Heaven could give me another chance, I would say three words to that girl: I love you.
“If I had to put a time limit on this love, I would want it to be...
“Ten thousand years!!!”
Buddha says: If we are destined to meet in this life, there must be a cause from a previous one.
Buddha says: Five hundred glances in a past life buy us one brush with each other in this life. I would trade a thousand glances for you to stop and linger before me.
I am no peerless hero riding on a seven-colored cloud, merely a fragile mortal in this vast world. I have not gone through ten thousand years of reincarnation, nor do I possess memories of a past life. I do not know what ties bound you and me before, only that we were destined to meet in this life. Meeting is the beginning. We come to know, love, and cherish each other, and finally stay by one another's side: only then can we reach a happy ending. Yet I still wonder, how long will it last? I do not covet another life, perhaps because you and I are both ordinary people, and any regrets in the next life would be born only of dreams. I think only of this life, though this life, too, has an end. My only resentment is that we met too late. I do not know whether I have already lived half my life, but in truth, I am only a fragile, ordinary person. I do not dream of living to a hundred; I ask only not to let this meeting go to waste, to speak of no debts, and to see my heart's desire fulfilled!
