Anecdotes of the Republic-Era Military and Government (Zongheng Collection, Volume 2)

The second volume presents a fragmentary compilation of articles published in Zongheng since 1986. It brings together vivid articles about certain historical events and figures from the late Qing dynasty through the years around the founding of the People's Republic of China. Though not considered major, they are distinctive and offer a glimpse into history from the sidelines. Military and Political Anecdotes of the Republic of China mainly collects accounts of military and political figures from that era, focusing on their actions and anecdotes outside the major historical events.
