The Princess Consort Is Reborn and Becomes Empress Dowager in One Move

[Both reborn + heroine grows over time + dog-and-cat couple] [The hero is Yuan Wu! He's the heroine's son in name! If that bothers you, proceed with caution!] From the moment she was born, Xiao Zhiqian was the most noble woman in Shengjing. But she spent her entire life striving for the love of a phoenix man, swallowing every grievance to be a virtuous wife and even breaking with her parents for his sake. At home, she meekly let her husband's secondary consort walk all over her. Outside, she spent her entire dowry building her husband's reputation. After finally helping him seize the throne, she died on the very first day she became empress. “How could a grandniece of the Empress Dowager from the Li family ever be worthy of bearing a child for me, Prince Wei?” His words struck her like a wake-up call. Reborn, Xiao Zhiqian decides to marry someone else and go straight for the top: she'll become Empress Dowager. But her ex, now a regent, won't stop pestering her. Her taciturn guard turns out to be a prince of an enemy kingdom. Even the little dog (x), little emperor (✓) she carefully raised has started looking at her strangely... Turns out being Empress Dowager isn't easy either! P.S. The heroine's rebirth is connected to the hero. There's a little supernatural element, but not much.
