Great Qin: Father, Why Did You Fake Your Death?

Ying Che transmigrates to the Great Qin Dynasty and becomes the Thirteenth Prince, lying low for twenty years. When news arrives that the First Emperor has died, he strikes like lightning, seizes the throne, brings peace to the realm, and conquers the four seas! As the First Emperor cultivates in seclusion, urgent reports keep coming in: “Your Majesty, the Thirteenth Prince has slain Zhao Gao, seized the imperial decree, and usurped the throne.” Ying Zheng: “You wretch! Once I emerge from seclusion, I’ll have you locked in the imperial prison!” “Your Majesty, the Thirteenth Prince has crushed the anti-Qin forces and the Hundred Schools of Thought. All the court’s senior officials have submitted to him.” Ying Zheng: “It’s of no consequence. I’ll soon complete my cultivation and emerge from seclusion. This realm will still be mine.” “Your Majesty, the Thirteenth Prince has led his Ironblood Dragon Cavalry to destroy the Xiongnu and conquer Baiyue. He intends to ascend the throne as emperor!” Ying Zheng: “Ha! I’ve already emerged from seclusion. While I still live, who would dare covet the throne?!” At the very moment of the coronation ceremony, the First Emperor suddenly appeared. He raised his arm and shouted, and the people turned en masse to bow before him! Ying Che stared in disbelief. “Father, I was ready to ascend the throne, and now you’re telling me you faked your death?”
