Good Grief! All Eight of My Brothers Are Emperors for the Ages

The good news: I've transmigrated and become the ninth prince of the Great Xia! The bad news: I have eight older brothers who are princes from different families: the eldest prince, Ying Zheng; the second prince, Liu Bang; the third prince, Cao Cao; the fourth prince, Sima Yi; the fifth prince, Li Shimin; the sixth prince, Zhao Kuangyin; the seventh prince, Temujin; and the eighth prince, Zhu Yuanzhang! What a murderous setup! And someone even dares to urge me to claim the throne? Are they trying to get me killed? No way! As the ninth prince, I need to travel the world. Six years later, I return! A map of the world appears before me. “Brothers, I, Xia Kang, the ninth prince, will carry on our father's ambitions and expand the borders of our Great Xia for generations to come. Wherever the sun and moon shine, it shall be Great Xia territory! Brothers, I'll leave Lin'an, the capital of Great Xia, in your hands.” Temujin: “If we're going to conquer the world, little brother, you're too frail to endure the journey. Let us older brothers carry out Father's dying wish...” Ying Zheng: “Ninth brother, you like farming, so stick to your fields! I'll lead our brothers on the campaign. If anything comes up, ask Zhao Gao!” Then one day, his fiancée Murong Yan sent him a letter: “I don't want my fiancé to be someone who only knows how to farm and has no ambition. To settle things between us...” Xia Kang assumed this was the classic broken-engagement setup. But Princess Yan, Murong Yan, said, “Your Highness, Ninth Prince, with your eight accomplished elder brothers dominating the court, why not marry into the Murong family?” “Great Yan has three hundred thousand cavalry, and we'll help you claim the throne and unify the realm!” Well, is my future wife planning to control the emperor and command the nobles?
