Yue Fei, courtesy name Pengju and posthumous title Wumu, was born in the Southern Song Dynasty. He is a famous strategist, military strategist, and anti-gold general in Chinese history.
Yue Fei's family was poor. He had been working for the family since he was a child, herding cattle and sheep, collecting firewood and cutting grass. These hard physical labors gave Yue Fei his amazing arm strength. At the age of 12, Yue Fei began to practice martial arts and became invincible in the county. After the Southern Song Dynasty was invaded by the Jin army, the passionate Yue Fei joined the army to fight against the Jin in order to serve his motherland. In the army, Yue Fei, who fought bravely, was quickly promoted. The Jin army forced Gaozong to flee into exile at sea. Yue Fei fought bravely against the enemy to defend his country, winning six battles and six victories. Later, they set up an ambush in Niutoushan, defeated the Jinwu technique, and recovered Jiankang. From then on, Yue Fei became famous all over the world, and the "Yue Family Army" with strict discipline and bravery in combat also became famous. The Jin army repeatedly lamented that "it is easy to shake the mountains, but it is difficult to shake the Yue family's army" because of Yue Fei's retreat. Gaozong once awarded Yue Fei the banner of "serving the country with loyalty and loyalty", but the emperor did not really want to regain the country. In the sixth year of Shaoxing, Yue Fei set off for the Northern Expedition, but he soon found that he was alone and had no support from the court. Yue Fei's ambition was not fulfilled, so he wrote the eternal masterpiece "Man Jiang Hong". Gaozong and his treacherous minister Qin Hui wanted peace, but the Jin army, who was afraid of Yue Fei, demanded that "Fei must be killed before peace can be achieved." So Qin Hui accused Yue Fei of treason, and on December 29, 1142, he poisoned Yue Fei to death in Lin'an Fengbo Pavilion on "unfounded" charges. The 39-year-old Yue Fei did not die on the battlefield, but fell into a conspiracy. It was not until Xiaozong succeeded to the throne that the injustice was redressed, and Yue Fei was posthumously named King of E.
Yue Fei was good at strategy and strict military management. The Yue family's army "will freeze to death without tearing down their houses, and starve to death without taking prisoners". Yue Fei participated in 126 battles in his life and never lost a single battle. He was a veritable victorious general.

I recently read "The Biography of Yue Fei" and was really fascinated by Yue Fei! Not only does he have superior force, he is also resourceful and is great at leading troops in battles! He was strict in running the army, and the Yue family's army was well-disciplined and deeply loved by the people. It's a pity that such a hero was framed by treacherous officials, which is heartbreaking. I really like the character Yue Fei. His patriotism and indomitable character are really admirable. This book is really wonderful and gave me a deeper understanding of that period of history.
