[One-on-one romance, reborn, redemption, hilarious, showbiz, face-slapping]
[Clueless solo fan (for real) sweet girl VS seemingly frail and adorable (but faking it) top-tier star with a yandere streak]
Jiang Jiang swears on everything she has that she never made a blood pact with her idol, nor did they ever swear together, “We may not be born on the same day, month, or year, but we hope to die on the same day, month, and year.”
Even so, they both died on the day they debuted, leading to the infamous “June 17 Incident,” which went viral across the internet.
Jiang Jiang was furious. She could die, but her idol couldn't!
Luckily, with help from the System, Jiang Jiang returned to the past and stood resolutely in front of her idol. Any outsider who dared offend him got a slap across the face from her.
She bravely took on outsiders, fought back against bullying in the boy band, took hits for her idol, and, um, started dating him too.
Outsiders/trainees/fans: That's not how the script goes!
Her idol, Zhang Siqin, smiled. “It's not in the script, but it is in my heart.”
Actually, Zhang Siqin began dreaming as soon as Jiang Jiang appeared.
In his dreams, he wore a gentle, harmless-looking face as he sowed discord and framed others. Everyone thought he was stupid, had no connections, and never fought for anything, but in truth, he manipulated everyone like puppets.
On the day of their debut, he suddenly grew tired of it all. The stage had malfunctioned, and he happened to step into empty space and fall.
He thought it was the perfect final gift for everyone.
Even if the bloodstained boy band debuted, it would struggle to survive in showbiz.
Everyone would remember only one name: Zhang Siqin.
He was dead, and yet he was alive.
But he never expected that his memories would follow the river of time back to where it all began, where he would meet the light.
The book is really beautiful, the writing is very real, very good
