Dreams of Fangtang

A dream of a half-acre pond: a failing student becomes a top scholar, and a teenager becomes a child.

Fang Ziyi transmigrates to a parallel world during a time of hardship, becoming Fang Yijian, a child who nearly drowned. By chance, he gains access to a “Half-Acre Pond” dimension.

The dimension’s spiritual spring is crystal clear, and a celestial lotus peeks above the water. Spiritual fish and shrimp play among its leaves, while three mulberry trees on the bank are laden with fruit. Their berries are as potent as divine pills. There is also a lush patch of grass, a storage shed, and a shop within the dimension.

Using his golden finger, Fang Yijian improves life for himself and his family, helping them get through the difficult times.

Along the way, he helps his neighbors as much as he can and makes a few friends. He achieves extraordinary things through ordinary means, gradually growing from a country boy into a dreamer with ideals and ambition.
