The Eastern Grimoire

This science fiction story follows the unbelievable tale of aliens and Shao Chen, the son of Shao Youli, and Meiduo, the daughter of Zhou Jinghai. Zhou Jinghai and his wife, Zhao Ruhua, live in a valley behind Hulu Mountain on Maple Ridge in the Changbai Mountains. They meet two university graduates, Shao Youli and Zhao Siyu, who have just been assigned to work at Wanggou Coal Mine. The young couple temporarily move into another self-built house on the Zhou family's property, which had been left vacant, becoming the couple's temporary neighbors.

Shao Youli and Zhao Siyu's son, Shao Chen, seemed to have an intellectual disability from birth. But while a spacecraft from Planet V9 was hiding an A-grade Codex in Hulu Mountain, its presence infected Shao Chen, who had been watching from nearby. As a result, his intelligence rose without limit to B++ level, far surpassing the B-level intelligence of Planet V9's people. Later, two aliens returned to the Hulu area of Maple Ridge in the Changbai Mountains to retrieve the A-grade Codex, after an unsuccessful attempt to send a distress call over a long distance. They discovered that Shao Chen had moved all seven pieces of the Codex. They also realized that when the A-grade Codex's intelligence carrier was released after transmission, a leak must have occurred. During that leak, it had randomly infected Shao Chen, a C-level-intelligence boy from Earth, causing his intelligence to surpass that of the B-level life forms on Planet V9. Meanwhile, Planet V9 was still waiting for the A-grade Codex to return and save the lives of its B-level intelligent people.

And so, the two B-level intelligent life forms from Planet V9 engaged Shao Chen in a series of contests of intelligence, involving true love and using love to seize the A-grade Codex of Wisdom.
