This book is divided into four parts: general introduction, individual monographs, crude drug identification skills training and crude drug identification experience terminology. The general monograph mainly teaches the four major identification methods of crude drugs, factors affecting the quality of crude drugs, the development, utilization and protection of crude drug resources. Each monograph is classified according to the different medicinal parts of crude drugs, and contains a total of more than 300 kinds of crude drugs. A total of nearly 20 practical training projects have been designed for the crude drug identification skills training part, reflecting the integration of theory and practice in teaching. This textbook has learning objectives before each chapter, and target detection at the end of the chapter. Cases and knowledge links related to crude drugs are flexibly interspersed in the main text. Each crude drug is accompanied by color photos. In particular, the key medicinal materials emphasize empirical identification of nouns and terminology, which can be consulted at the end of the book.
