The Mischievous Young Princess

[Rebellious, high-maintenance young princess vs. cold, sharp-tongued heir] Cen Yi and Fu Yan had never gotten along. Their families were old friends, but what Cen Yi hated most was Fu Yan's self-righteous, dead-fish stare and his cold, distant manner. Her hatred of Fu Yan officially came to an end in the thirteenth year of the Suizheng era, when he went to Mobei for three years of training. Cen Yi was overjoyed. She even had more confidence when insulting people. With Fu Yan around, he was always keeping her in check, which made her feel stifled. Three years flew by. Cen Yi had been living a carefree life in the capital, but when she heard Fu Yan would soon be back, she grew restless and wanted to intercept him on the road into the city. Then, just before setting out, she received the most devastating news: her parents were going to marry her off to Fu Yan. Cen Yi protested that she wasn't in love with Fu Yan at all, and that a melon forcibly picked wouldn't be sweet. But later, the two of them proved that even a forcibly picked melon could be sweet.
