The more popular The Tragedy becomes, the more exhausted Lin Sicheng feels as an ordinary high school student. He also begins to see things that shouldn't be there: a bird that turns its head and smiles, a general in a mural who rolls his eyes. The increasingly bizarre, surreal events pull him ever deeper into an emotional mire.
