The characters in this book have distinct personalities and rich experiences. I really like Geng Zhongming. He is brave and good at fighting. Faced with Yuan Chonghuan's unfair treatment, he can make a decisive decision and lead his troops to submit to the Qing Dynasty. He is really courageous. However, I hate Yuan Chonghuan very much. He was narrow-minded and jealous of talents, which led to Mao Wenlong's unjust death and indirectly led to the surrender of Geng Zhongming and others.
