A Little Flutter in the Heart of Youth

A friendly reminder: This story spans a long period of time. The early part focuses on school life, and the true nature of things only comes later. (You could even say it’s all fake~ Hahahaha. Anyway, I’m having fun writing it. The heartbreak is all yours, hehe.) [School life at first, sweet romance with angst, love at first sight] [Slightly spooky] [Unhinged top student heroine + arrogant fake underachiever] Badass, unhinged top student ✖ pure-hearted, proud puppy → Not quite accurate, though. There are lots of sides to the characters. I’ve already given up trying to keep them in line. On the first day of school after the second-year class assignments, Cheng Xinlu meets Tang Wenyan, who is being reprimanded in the teachers’ office. After witnessing their homeroom teacher’s double standards, the two become bickering frenemies. “Yan, you’re so handsome!” “Oh, don’t be shy.” [Later on, a touch of fantasy, with a little imagination] “Am I still me?” “No, you’re not her!” “Alu, I’ve finally waited for you.” “A Li, thank goodness I have you.” Awakening consciousness or mental illness? Cheng Xinlu has always believed in traveling back and forth between parallel worlds. But where can she go when faced with a dream world that defies logic? And why does he appear in a world where nothing is quite real?
