After breaking up with his ex-girlfriend, Mu Chen was heartbroken and chose to transmigrate.

That's right: he was hit and killed by a truck after leaving a convenience store, hoping to transmigrate to a world full of exciting… ahem, endless battles. The female characters there were incredibly appealing, after all. But he never expected to end up in Terra, a world that would devour you whole.

It was before the main story began. Yan had just emerged from the War Against the Gods and the investiture of deities when Mu Chen was appointed Chief Inspector of the Celestial Masters' Manor.

Though shocked, Mu Chen wasn't worried in the slightest. Sure, things could get brutal, but with his good looks… ahem, and his knowledge of the story, he'd already been secretly building up his own forces before joining Rhodes Island. They were called the Watchers.

He was the first Celestial Master of Yan, saving Great Yan time and again.

He was the darkness of Rhodes Island, cutting down every obstacle in its path.

He was a shareholder in Raythean Industries and a thorn in Rhine Lab's side.

The company he founded drove Terra's technological progress, and his wealth rivaled that of a nation.

Kal'tsit: “This Watcher's very powerful. He's just never shown what he can really do.”

Mu Chen: “Mm-hmm. Definitely worth bringing into the fold.”

Wei Yenwu: “*Lungmen profanity* Damn that Watcher, he ran off with my niece!”

Theresa: “Could I borrow some money from you? Though I won't be able to pay it back.”

Mu Chen: “That's fine. You could always pay me back another way.”
