In Europe, Britain was originally a small and inconspicuous country, but in modern times, it suddenly became a very important power in the world. Relying on its increasingly prosperous national power and powerful navy, it defeated Spain and the Netherlands in the 6th and 7th centuries, becoming the dominant maritime hegemon. Later, it extended the tentacles of colonialism to every corner of the world, gradually building the largest colonial empire on which "the sun never sets" in human history. Wherever the sun shines 24 hours a day, the flag of the British colonialists can be seen flying.

This book is really good! It uses rich pictures and vivid words to tell the story of Britain's glorious journey from a small country to an empire on which "the sun never sets". I especially liked the plot about the rise of the British navy and colonial expansion in the book, which gave me a deeper understanding of British history. The author's description is wonderful, it feels like watching a fascinating movie
I learned a lot of knowledge through Tomato novels. I like them so much. I read them here every day. Even if my eyes are tired, I can continue to listen to the book. It's great [like] [like] [like] [like]

A very good book, thumbs up, thumbs up, thumbs up, thumbs up
I bought this book back then
The lines are charming and the purpose is clear.
Have a general understanding of British history
It's not bad. I can roughly understand the historical development process of Britain, but I feel that many places are too general and lack a certain depth.
This is the first time I have read a foreign history book. The context is clear and the language is concise.
