My Best Friend and I Transmigrated, and Things Got Out of Hand

Jiang Ruan transmigrates to ancient times and becomes an unloved, illegitimate daughter whose father doesn't care for her and whose mother is nowhere to be found. To top it off, she's saddled with a useless teammate from the start. What a disastrous start. Well, what can she do? Life has to go on. All she wants is to live quietly and comfortably in the household, but before long, her purse is getting fatter and her days are getting better and better. The problem is, a ridiculously handsome man keeps following her around, and she just can't shake him. He's not only handsome, but good in bed, too. Jiang Ruan thinks she might as well take him in. Little does she know he's the notorious Living Yama of the capital, a favorite of the emperor himself: Lord Zuo, the Assistant Grand Councillor. Just as Jiang Ruan is about to give in to his aggressive advances, her dearest friend, the most honored princess of the Tianbao era, waves a hand and directly rewards her with a hundred handsome men to attend to her. Holy moly! How is she supposed to choose? Can't she have both? - Happy ending, HE. Medium-length story. Both leads are faithful to each other. I'm a sucker for good looks. At first, the heroine shines on her own, with plenty of inner-household scheming and little time spent on the leads as a couple. After Chapter 30, the “domineering CEO falls in love with me” storyline kicks off. This story mainly focuses on the heroine and has a large ensemble cast. Not sure how sweet it is. Not sure how angsty it is. Enjoy it while you can.
