Basic Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine

This series of books is chiefly edited by President Zhang Boli and the Education Steering Committee of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine. It consists of 1 syllabus and 13 textbooks. The chief editor's meeting, writing meeting, review meeting, and finalization meeting were held in Beijing in March and the end of May 2015, and January and June 2016 respectively. They were jointly organized by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Education Steering Committee and our society, and our society specifically undertook it. The expenses were borne by the publishing fee funded by Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Prepared in accordance with the requirements of the "World Undergraduate Education Standards of Traditional Chinese Medicine". The writers are first-line, first-class experts and scholars with rich experience in textbook writing and international teaching from top Chinese medicine colleges and institutions at home and abroad, jointly selected by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Steering Committee and our society. They come from 74 higher Chinese medicine colleges and research institutes (institutes) in 15 countries and regions, a total of 283 people, including 226 people from 34 domestic institutions and 57 people from 40 overseas institutions. The English version of the textbook has been successively edited, processed and published. The content of the Chinese version of the textbook currently applied for has international characteristics, emphasizing standardization, practicality, and safety. Some of the content is missing in domestic textbooks, such as needle cleaning technology. There are many overseas Chinese practitioners of traditional Chinese medicine, and more and more foreigners are learning Chinese. It is necessary to have an English version of this set of textbooks. Market demand and prospects are good. Both benefits are good. "Basic Theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine" is edited by Wang Jian, Zhang Guoxia, and Zhu Miansheng (France). About the author: Zhang Boli, male, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, president of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, president, professor and doctoral supervisor of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He is a leader in the national key discipline of Traditional Chinese Medicine Internal Medicine and is engaged in research on the modernization of traditional Chinese medicine. He concurrently serves as the vice chairman of the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, vice president of the China Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, chairman of the Chinese Medicine Teaching Steering Committee for Higher Education Institutions under the Ministry of Education, and chief scientist of 973. He is the chief editor/deputy editor/editorial member of more than 20 national core journals. He has edited more than ten monographs and published more than 120 papers. He has won 3 National Science and Technology Progress Awards (including first prize), 1 National Invention Award, and 20 first and second prizes of provincial and ministerial science and technology awards. The "Research and Industrialization of Core Technology System for the Secondary Development of Chinese Patent Medicines" completed under his leadership won the first prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.
